A children's film is a film aimed for children as its audience. As opposed to a family film, no special effort is made to make the film attractive for other audiences. The film may or may not be about children. Typically, live action children's films are designed to make it appear to children that other children can save the world or fight crime. These films tend to involve bumbling and incompetent adults as their enemies. Although most films tend to "bend the rules of reality", this applies even more for children's films. They often contain elements of magic or fantasy: things improbable or impossible in real life. See also
